Fresco USB 3.0 drivers. Fresco Logic is a fabless chip company providing advanced solutions that deliver highly-efficient connectivity, such as USB 3.0 for next-generation consumer electronics, personal computing, storage and mobile devices. Yes the problem is that I needed the most recent driver FL 2000 USB 3.0 display driver, version 1.1.315.00, but the device came with the earlier driver. You can get it on the Fresno Logic website. Fresco Logic USB3.0 Host Controller is a program developed by Fresco Logic. The most used version is 3.0.119.1, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. Upon installation and setup, it defines an auto-start registry entry which makes this program run on each Windows boot for all user logins.
Hello!
I have a Dell XPS 13 with Windows 7 and have been plagued by the Fresco Logic USB issue since I've had it (since winter 2012). This is error code 31 if that means anything. In the past I was able to either roll back the driver update or redownload the driver from Dell's website (the one from August 22, 2012), but for some reason that isn't working anymore and hasn't for awhile (over a year). The right USB port was working on and off but is now mechanically broken so I'm trying to fix the left one.
The problems most people were facing were that when they would delete the driver and then restart their computer, the faulty updated driver would redownload. I'm not even getting to that problem--the driver won't even install:

I ran a troubleshooting thing and got this:

When I try to download the drivers from Dell directly, I get the following:

(press install)

(press ok)
(immediately goes to this)

Note that, admittedly, when I've tried to redownload the drivers, there are already drivers downloaded but not installed on here from the automatic update.
This is what comes up when I press 'view log' (or at least, this is what seems to be the important part):
[11/15/15 12:43:45]

Normally guides say to delete the .93 version and download the August 22, 2012 version from Dell, but that isn't downloading at all here so I'm kind of at a loss. It appears that the right USB port stuff downloaded correctly, but since the little thing inside the usb port fell out a few months ago, I can't check that.
Has anyone had this problem before? Is there a way to switch the usb ports around? I don't need a usb3.0 port.
I have also tried deleting the file out of the Windows32 folder, as described here: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3518/p/19495043/20320308#20320308. That didn't work either I was still unable to download install the driver and got the same results as I did above.
Let me know if there is anything else I need to provide for help on this!

![Fresco Logic Driver Fresco Logic Driver](/uploads/1/2/6/1/126178772/514361354.jpg)
I finally decided to reinstall completely Windows from the ISO i downloaded from my Windows 10 with the MediaCreationTool.
I'm now Under v1703 (Creator's Update) but i'm experiencing a very Strange problem : my two USB3 ports of my GIGABYTE GA-H61N-USB3 mainboard do no longer works !!! When i plug Something in it Nothing happens.. (not even a sound).
I verified my bios and USB3 is still enabled. I also have no missing peripherals in Windows.
When i try to install Fresco Logic USB 3 drivers (last and old packages), the installation fails..
Oddly, the AE2500 now works perfectly, even though the driver isn't Windows 10 compatible. (When I clicked on the AE2500 in Device Manager after the install Win 10 assured me that there were no compatible device drivers.).

Fresco Logic Driver For Windows 10
I think that the reason why i can't update automatically from v1511 to newer Windows versions is because of this driver issue.. Now i understand :'(
